2008 Kid’s Ocean Day

More than 3,000 elementary and high school students from schools in and around Los Angeles participated in a beach cleanup and created an aerial work of art that signals kids taking charge of caring for the health of our ocean. Working closely with the Malibu Foundation for Environmental Education, SGA represented the Los Angeles Stormwater Program and coordinated the day’s event and media outreach.
