4 Tips For Successful Public Outreach

Public outreach is an important element of social marketing, the better it’s done the greater the impact that is ultimately made. Below are four (we’d like to think excellent) tips for conducting successful outreach.
1 – Get your message in front of a crowd: This may seem like a no-brainer, but when you speak in front of a crowd, people are reached in a very direct way. Belief in Climate Change is on the Rebound…Or is it? Is it Time to “Think Fast”?

There was some good news and bad news in the latest biannual survey on climate change by the Brookings Institute.
First, the good news. The survey found that more Americans now believe in climate change. Currently 62% of Americans believe this, while only 26% do not (the rest unsure). This is up from a low of just 50% in 2010; about halfway back to the original high of around 75% in 2008.
